Thursday night focuses on applying Improv skills for cold reading of scripts. This cold reading class is incredibly valuable for people wanting to make strong choices with theatrical auditions while being true to themselves. This class is on-going.
This Saturday morning 4 week workshop offers a practical approach using Improv for on camera commercials. Discover why casting people want people to have Improv training and how to "Improvise" commercial copy. Everything from the slate to delivery of copy is covered. Learn how to make bad copy sound good and how to “own” commercial copy with your unique voice. Workshop is offered every 6 weeks.
Actors Improv Studio invites in guest speakers every quarter to share their insights with students about the business of acting. These are wonderful opportunities for students to get perspectives not often available to actors. Guests include Agents, Casting Directors, Producers, Directors and Writers.
